EP-34 Tape Echo

Delay
UAD / Universal Audio

The EP-34 Tape Echo is a vintage tape delay emulation plugin that recreates the legendary Echoplex device used by Jimmy Page, Brian May, and Eddie Van Halen. It captures the hardware's idiosyncratic character—distortion, wow and flutter, self-oscillation, and squelch effects—while adding modern workflow features like Tempo Sync and real-time record head manipulation for smeary, trippy delay effects.
