Monark

Synthesizer
Native Instruments

Monark is a faithful replication of a classic 1970s monophonic analog synthesizer modeled in Native Instruments REAKTOR. It emphasizes subtractive synthesis with three oscillators, a warm 4-pole ladder filter capable of self-oscillation, dual envelope generators, and a feedback path that captures the dirt and imperfections of vintage analog circuitry. Designed for maximum sonic impact with a clear layout and smooth controls.

Available for:STANDALONE

Key Features

  • Three oscillators with six waveforms each (triangle, triangle/sawtooth, sawtooth, square, narrow pulse, very narrow pulse)
  • Four filter types derived from classic 4-pole ladder structure (MM 24dB, LP2 12dB, LP1 6dB, BP 12dB bandpass)
  • Two feedback algorithms (Type A and Type B) for overdrive and distortion effects
  • Dual ADS envelope generators (filter and amplifier) with attack, decay, sustain, and release controls
  • Four key-tracking strengths (full 1/1, 1/3, 2/3, or none)
  • Two glide types (MM constant rate, SILVER constant time) with legato, always, or off modes
  • Modulation of oscillator pitch and filter cutoff via OSCILLATOR 3 or noise generator with mixing control
