Synclavier V is a software recreation of the legendary Synclavier Digital Synthesizer, combining additive, FM (frequency modulation), and Timbre Frame synthesis. Developed by original Synclavier designer Cameron Jones, it authentically reproduces the sound of the FM 8-bit voice cards down to the noise floor while adding modern features like 12 partial timbres, up to 100 timbre frames per partial, and comprehensive effects. It runs as a standalone instrument or plugin in all major DAW formats.
