Vocoder V

Synthesizer
Arturia

Vocoder V is a software vocoder plugin that analyzes modulation sources—voice, drums, or samples—and imparts their characteristics onto a synthesized carrier sound. Built around a 16-band filter architecture with digital envelope followers, it recreates classic vocoder effects while adding modern capabilities like pitch tracking, a 12-sample player, FM synthesis, and integrated effects. Unlike hardware vocoders, Vocoder V offers flexibility impossible in analog designs, including cross-band routing via patch bay and real-time timbral manipulation.
