It recreates well-known guitar amplifier sounds through virtual microphone modeling and integrated classic effects, making it useful for processing guitar signals or experimental sound design on any instrument.

Key Features

01More than 20 preconfigured amplifier models across 8 categories (Tweed, Classic American, British Stacks, British Combos, British Alternatives, Metal Stacks, Additional Combos)
0224 cabinet models with customizable microphone selection from 7 microphone types (2 Condenser, 4 Dynamic, 1 Ribbon)
035 EQ types (British Bright, Vintage, U.S. Classic, Modern, Boutique) with Bass, Mids, and Treble controls
04Integrated effects: 10 reverb types (Vintage Spring, Simple Spring, Mellow Spring, Bright Spring, Dark Spring, Resonant Spring, Boutique Spring, Sweet Reverb, Rich Reverb, Warm Reverb), tremolo, and vibrato
05Microphone XY positioning pad for on-axis and off-axis placement to adjust tone from fuller to brighter
06Gain, Presence, and Master amplifier controls plus separate Output slider for final level
07Full and small interface versions with parameter access

Things to Try

  • 01Tweed combos are responsive to playing dynamics: adjust knobs to create distorted sound, then reduce guitar volume knob for cleaner tone; turn up guitar volume when soloing
  • 02Place microphone on-axis (center of speaker cone) for fuller, more powerful sound suitable for blues or jazz; place off-axis (on rim) for brighter, thinner tone suitable for cutting rock or R&B parts
  • 03Combine Pawnshop Combo amp with Pedalboard Hi Drive or Candy Fuzz stompboxes to emulate hard rock tones of the late 1960s
  • 04Try using higher Treble and Presence knob settings with British Combos than with other amp types for enhanced brightness
