Discord 4 is a multi-effect plugin combining pitch shifting, delay, and reverb processing. It features two independent three-algorithm pitch-shifting blocks (Vintage, Clean, and Granular modes) paired with a warm, tempo-synced delay and stereo reverb, designed for creating everything from subtle vocal doubling and chorusing effects to dramatic granular destruction and pitched feedback textures.

Things to Try

  • 01Set left and right delay times to slightly different values to produce a wide stereo chorus effect
  • 02Use longer delay times with non-zero pitch shift and feedback to create echoes that ascend or descend in pitch
  • 03Adjust granular SIZE and PERIOD controls to similar values to separate grains into distinct sounds, or increase PERIOD to overlap grains for smoother output
  • 04Set the MIX knob to the far right to hear only the processed signal when exploring filter behavior with broad-frequency content sources
