Phoscyon 2 is a comprehensive TB-303 emulation synth that combines an authentically modeled acid bass engine with an advanced internal sequencer and effects chain. The signal path has been completely redesigned for unprecedented emulation accuracy, and it features a distinctive vibrato effect achieved through alternating notes, along with extensive calibration parameters that let you replicate the unique character of any original 303 unit.

Things to Try

  • 01Use the two-note spread (Vib. Depth) and note duration (Vib. Speed) knobs to create distinctive 303-style vibrato effects by adjusting Slide Time for smoothness
  • 02Reorder effects in the insert chain by dragging effect headers to achieve different sonic flavors from the same distortion and effect settings
  • 03In the Randomizer, select which notes, octaves, and attributes to randomize, then use the Amount knobs to set density for each part individually before clicking Draw
  • 04Access Calibration Parameters by clicking the cover to adjust TM3 (base cutoff frequency), BA662 Clicks, and BA662 Noise for per-unit character variation
