Studio D Chorus

UAD / Universal Audio

Studio D Chorus is a modulation plugin that emulates the legendary Roland Dimension D chorus unit introduced in 1979. It delivers subtle spatial widening and sweet modulation textures through a faithful recreation of the original's 1024-stage bucket-brigade circuit, ideal for adding depth and interest to guitars, vocals, drums, synths, and strings without dramatically altering the source material.

Key Features

01Four Dimension Mode buttons with four intensity levels each
02Multiple button combinations for sonic variations beyond the four main modes
031024 stages per channel bucket-brigade circuit emulation
04Mono input mode for mono-in/stereo-out operation
05All buttons mode for maximum modulation depth
06Stereo or mono input switching

Things to Try

  • 01Engage all four buttons simultaneously for maximum chewy modulation texture and extra space
  • 02Use Mono input mode when the plugin is on an auxiliary effect send/return for sonic variation
  • 03Combine different button modes by holding Shift and clicking Mode buttons for subtle sonic palette variations
