Renaissance EQ is a six-band paragraphic equalizer designed for professional audio production, famous for its remarkably musical equalization and resonant shelves. It combines graphic and parametric controls to provide flexible tonal shaping with both surgical precision and musical character.

Things to Try

  • 01Use resonant shelf filters on bands 2-5 for characteristic analog Pultec-style 'bump' by adjusting Q to shift the slope steepness
  • 02Hold Ctrl while dragging to restrict movement to one axis, enabling you to locate a frequency with a high narrow boost then turn it into a cut without changing frequency
  • 03Use the Trim button to automatically adjust output faders to correct clipping detected by the 48-bit internal processing
  • 04Enable the real-time analyzer (RTA) to see post-EQ signal behavior and understand how your EQ choices affect the track
