ES1 is a streamlined analog synthesizer emulator for Logic Pro that uses subtractive synthesis to create sounds by generating harmonically rich waveforms from its oscillator and sub-oscillator, then filtering and shaping them with flexible modulation options. It's designed for both beginners and experienced synthesists, excelling at punchy basses, atmospheric pads, biting leads, and sharp percussion through its intuitive interface.

Things to Try

  • 01Set Cutoff to low, Resonance to high, and move ADSR via Vel arrows upward while striking notes to learn filter envelope modulation
  • 02Switch Sub knob to Off, drag Mix slider to bottom, and set Resonance to maximum to output a playable sine wave from the filter
  • 03Drag Form slider to positive value toward attack and select Pitch as LFO target with triangle waveform at ~5Hz to set up delayed vibrato
  • 04Set LFO Rate to 0 and use Int via Whl slider to manually control pulse width modulation with your keyboard modulation wheel
