Harmor is an additive/subtractive synthesizer that powers sound design with up to 516 sine wave partials per note, enabling precise real-time modulation of harmonic content. Unlike traditional subtractive synths, Harmor manipulates frequency and amplitude data directly, allowing custom waveform creation and advanced resynthesis of audio and image files for sampler-quality sound reproduction with unprecedented harmonic control.

Things to Try

  • 01Use Pluck TIME parameter at high settings to impart a 'damped' quality where high frequencies decay first simulating a plucked string
  • 02Set Unison phase to 100% (full blur) for smooth unison on high pitch notes to avoid phasiness on lower notes
  • 03Enable Keyboard tracking in the Filter section to make sounds brighter on higher keys by raising the Low-pass filter cutoff as pitch increases
  • 04Right-click the Timbre windows to load single-cycle waveforms and edit Harmonic level and phase mappings for custom waveform creation
